Meet The Team
Meet Marlee
Owner & Licensed Aesthetician | Restoration Aesthetics
Hello and welcome! I’m Marlee Hayes, owner and licensed aesthetician at Restoration Aesthetics in Columbia, Tennessee.
My passion for skincare began when I was a young teenager, when I became fascinated by skincare ingredients, treatments, and the anatomy of the skin. That early passion eventually led me to Empire Beauty School in Brentwood, Tennessee, and I became a licensed aesthetician in 2018.
Since then, I’ve had the privilege of working with a wide variety of skin types and concerns, continually growing in my knowledge and love for this industry. My approach to skincare is centered around one simple belief: you shouldn’t have to choose between results and relaxation. I love combining results-driven treatments with a peaceful, restorative spa experience so that each client can care for their skin while also taking time to slow down and recharge.
Creating an experience that feels personal and welcoming is incredibly important to me. From the moment you walk through our doors to the moment you leave, my hope is that you feel genuinely cared for, comfortable, and at peace. Outside of the spa, my greatest joy is my family. Since beginning my career in 2018, I’ve had the blessing of marrying my best friend, Trevor, and becoming a mom to our two beautiful children, Tempie and Landon. Being their mom is my greatest accomplishment, and I’m incredibly thankful to God for the life and family He has given me. I’m so happy you’re here, and whether you’re visiting us for the first time or have trusted us with your care for years, my prayer is that Restoration Aesthetics is a place where you always feel welcome, cared for, and restored. I can’t wait to welcome you!

Massage Therapist | Restoration Aesthetics
My journey into massage therapy began somewhat unexpectedly. I chose to attend the Chicago School of Massage Therapy on a whim, never imagining that what started as a career decision would become a lifelong calling.
For more than 21 years, massage therapy has given me the opportunity to do work that I find deeply meaningful. I feel a genuine sense of honor and gratitude in being invited into the lives of my clients and trusted to work alongside them in understanding their bodies, their concerns, and their individual paths toward healing.
My approach is mindful, intentional, clinical, and therapeutic. I devote my education, experience, and resources to looking beyond the immediate area of discomfort and thoughtfully exploring the underlying patterns and contributing factors that may be affecting how someone feels. I believe effective bodywork begins with truly listening—to the client, to their story, and to what their body is communicating.
The trust my clients place in me is something I value immensely. When someone chooses my space for their self-care, I recognize the significance of that choice. My intention is to provide an environment that feels peaceful, calm, secure, familiar, and consistent—a place where you can exhale, feel supported, and give yourself permission to be cared for. I believe the therapeutic relationship is built upon trust, honor, respect, and support. These are not simply ideals to me; they are expressed through presence, intention, and positive, purposeful touch.
In 2015, my family and I made the decision to move to Tennessee, beginning a new chapter in both my personal and professional life. That transition opened another meaningful path within massage therapy: education. I began teaching and mentoring the next generation of massage therapists, sharing not only the knowledge and clinical experience I had gained throughout my career, but also the deeper understanding that therapeutic touch is about far more than technique.
Teaching has allowed me to continue growing while giving back to the profession that has given me so much. It has reinforced my belief that excellent massage therapy is a blend of knowledge, skilled hands, thoughtful presence, and genuine respect for the person receiving the work.
Today, I remain deeply grateful for every aspect of this journey—the clients who have trusted me, the students I have had the privilege of teaching, and the many lessons this profession has given me along the way.
It is my privilege to create a space where you feel safe to pause, reconnect, restore, and receive the care you deserve. With intention. With presence. With respect for your journey.
